Olive wood WDT tool coffee distributor (with or without oval stand)

Description

This is the “second edition” made from olive wood.
Also new: there’s a stylish stand available as well.

I originally started making wdt tools because my old Eureka MCI Mignon Mill produces a lot of clumps and since a lot of friends started asking me about it they are now available for purchase.

This little tool brings puck preparation to the next level.
It is helpful in distributing the coffee grounds evenly, breaking up clumps after grinding and therefore reducing channeling and improving extraction.

I make these by hand, the needles are inset into the wooden handle, with just a little bit of superglue to make sure they stay in place.

The handle is ~40mm in height and 30mm in diameter.

The Color and natural pattern of the olive wood might differ substantially from piece to piece, due to the natural growth of the wood.

The stainless steel needles are 0.3 thin and approx. 45mm long.

If you are unsure which one to take:
“WDT Tool (no stand)” is just the tool, without the stand
“WDT Tool + Stand” is the tool plus the stand included in the package

The wood is oiled with food grade extra vergine olive oil, still it should not be soaked in water or washed in a dishwasher.
Gentle hand cleaning with water and mild soap is advised, let dry after cleaning.
You can simply use some olive oil on a piece of paper towel to give it a new shine.
